JUDGES
I have simply did not have the time to do a deep dive here. Our system for judges is simply non-functional. The news media doesn’t spend one second on this topic, expecting the average voter to individually find out who their judges are and how good or bad they are doing.
The voting for our Judges system is broken.
The Fred solution, if you do come across their individual record, and that their record is good, Vote YES, they stay. If you know their record is bad vote NO.
If you can’t find anything about their individual record you have 3 options
- Don’t vote Y or N, for that person: This is in effect a Yes, Keep him or her
- Flip a coin on each one, HEADS – ‘YES’ THEY STAY, OR TAILS ‘NO’ THEY GO.
- Bypass options 1 & 2. Simply vote NO on all the current judges you have no information.
Send a note to the powers, we will not blindly follow your lead.
QUESTIONS ON THE BALLOT FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.
- Change the KS State Constitution, require voters be citizens of the United States. Yes/No
- A Tax Question – Raise Sales taxes County wide (0.25%) support health concerns. Yes/No
- A Tax Question- Raise Sales taxes for KS. City, KS (3/8 of 1 % for parks, community centers, roads and bridges. Yes/No
Question # 1 : A CHANGE OF THE KANSAS CONSTITUTION
For years more and more people have illegally crossed our national boarders or over stayed their VISA illegally. Increasingly these people have flouted our National and State laws and decided to vote for government offices or even hold government offices. Our state constitution, and our voting laws have assumed the person registering to vote is a U.S. Citizen. Increasingly more people who have no right to be in the US have decided they don’t have to obey our laws, but have the right to help create laws, via the Ballot Box.
The question is simple. Should we demand that only legal U.S. citizens that Obay U.S. have the right to vote on election day.
We Recommend Answer YES
Question #2 and #3
Question #2
Funding countywide Health Services is routinely voted on by the Unified Government Commissioners via the general budget in July and August. This has Always been part of the routine yearly budget process and basically funded by Real Estate Tax Revenue
We Recommend Answer NO
Question #3
Ks. City, Ks. funding city wide parks, roads, and bridges is routinely voted on by the Unified Government Commissioners via the general budget in July and August. This has Always been part of the routine yearly budget process and basically funded by Real Estate Tax Revenue.
We Recommend Answer NO
Reason for Vote No: In August of this year the UG Commissioners, considering Raising Real Estate Taxes again, were confronted at a routine meeting of the commissioners/citizens. The Citizens, some of which were overtaxed and losing their houses became very loudly upset. The commissioners backed off of raising Real Estate Tax, but plan to do a almost hidden run to steal tax money, not from R. E. Tax, but from Sales Tax.
